Obituary: Barbara Ann Romans
Barb was an avid volunteer and constantly worked to improve the lives of everyone around her.
Barbara Ann Romans (nee: Gruenwald) passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the age of 70. Cherished wife for 50 years to Ron. Loving mother of Jenny (Gary) Sponder and Joyce (John) Block. Proud grandma of Rachel (Brian), Erin, Jake and Ali. Great-grandma to Ava. Sister of Paul (Holly) Gruenwald. Cousin of John Battell. Further survived by her feline companion, Connor, and many dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Elizabeth Gruenwald.
Barb was an avid volunteer and constantly worked to improve the lives of everyone around her. She lived by the motto, "If I cannot do great things, I will do small things in a great way."
A Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church, N84W16707 Menomonee Ave., Menomonee Falls, from 2-3 PM. A Memorial Service will follow.
