Funeral Services Set for Bob Baer

October 31, 1924 - June 3, 2013

Robert S.  "Bob" Baer of  Menomonee Falls. Found eternal peace on Monday June 3,2013 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Patricia "Patsy". Loving father of Robin (Michael) Manke. Proud grandfather of David. Dear brother of Beverly Schlafer. Dear uncle of John Schlafer and Susan (John) Samsela. Dear cousin of Kenneth Pfeil. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday June 8 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, W156N8131 Pilgrim Rd. Military Honors will follow. Visitation is from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be at West Granville Cemetery.

Bob was the owner of Dan's Tog Shop, Men's Clothing Store for over 50 years. He was an Eagle Scout and a veteran of World War II. He was very civic minded and served as President of the Menomonee Falls Chamber of Commerce, Vice-President of Community Memorial Hospital and served on the hospital board for 22 years,served 6 years on the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Board, was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Lincoln Lodge #183 F. & A.M., Director of the Main St. Association and a member of the Menomonee Falls Rotary Club for 37 years and was a Paul Harris Fellow.
