Falls Band Getting Some Major Play

Both ESPN and WWE have used songs from "The Heroes Lie," which recorded the music in a basement in Menomonee Falls.

In a community with a rich musical history like Menomonee Falls, it's no surprise our partners at FOX6 found this local band, which is getting played on ESPN during it's coverage of the NFL playoffs.

The band, called "The Heroes Lie," wrote the song "Here Now or Never" and it's currently being used nationally for an NFL promo on the enormous sports network.

Lead singer Eric Labrosse discovered the song was getting a lot of play after he received a text message from a friend saying they heard it on television. The same song is also used as the entrance song for WWE wrestler, Mason Ryan.

It may have slipped under the radar of many, but Menomonee Falls has some deep roots in the music industry. Fall Out Boy drummer Andy Hurley hailed from the village. The record label, CandyRat Records, from Menomonee Falls. Falls' the radio music industry with his expansive database of top hits.
