Not Your Average P.T.A. Meeting

Vintage car owners are encouraged to shine up their vehicles and show them off at the Menomonee Falls garden center on Saturday, September 28, from 10am-4pm. Owners will receive goodie bags and be eligible for door prizes and trophies. The first 50 people to register their cars by e-mailing kimberly@shadylanegreenhouse.com with their name, year and make of car will receive a free dash plaque.

In honor of Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary, riders are welcome to attend and show off their motorcycles, as well. They, too, should register by using the e-mail address above.

During the P.T.A. meeting, Shady Lane’s KFH Legacy will be running. This is the Midwest’s largest permanent g-scale model train and is 4,200 sq. ft. of fun. Along with the railway display in the House of Blooms, other children’s activities will be featured to make the day especially kid-friendly.

At the Whistle Stop Café, grilled food, popcorn and beverages will be for sale by Immanuel Lutheran Brookfield. A local DJ will add great music to the day’s activities.

The admission fee to the P.T.A. meeting for the general public is just 2 cans of non-perishable food items for the Falls Area Food Pantry. Admission is waived for vintage car owners and those riders bringing their motorcycles to display at the P.T.A.
