Unwanted and expired medications will be collected from area residents at a free drug collection event Saturday, April 28, at Community Memorial Hospital from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hospital’s parking lot, W180 N8085 Town Hall Road, Menomonee Falls. Enter “Driveway B.”
Ointments, sprays, inhalers, creams, vials, herbals and pet medications can be dropped off for a safe, proper disposal, keeping them out of the environment and the hands of children. Biohazardous materials, household hazardous waste and personal hygiene products will not be accepted.
The hospital is partnering with the Menomonee Falls Police Department and Drug Free Communities Waukesha County to hold the event. For more information, visit www.waukeshacounty.gov/drugcollection.
