Stars & Stripes Honor Flight Art Show & Open House
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. We also think it can be worth a thousand Thank You's. Since the first flight in November of 2008, Stars and Stripes Honor Flight has taken thousands of WWII veterans and guardians on a one day trip to Washington D.C. Each trip producing countless stories, smilies, tears and cheers. The best way to tell the Honor Flight story, is to let people walk the chronology of an Honor Flight trip. The organization has curated their best, most moving images (about 120 of them!) into this traveling art show. This project was a collaboration with the official Honor Flight photographer, Visual Image Photography.
Join us for this heartfelt tribute to our Veterans. Refreshments and tours of The Arboretum will be available.
