Yin Yoga and Wine Tasting at Vivid Yoga in Menomonee Falls

A wine pairing like you’ve NEVER experienced before! We are excited to introduce what will (hopefully) be a regular event at Vivid Yoga! Come join us on Friday October 19th at 6:00 PM for a Yin Yoga class followed by a tasty wine tasting event!

We’ll start with an hour long Yin Yoga class. The practice of yin yoga provides the perfect balance to your active (yang) yoga practices and your busy life. Focusing on long-held floor poses combined with breath work and meditation, yin yoga goes beneath the superficial muscles to target the dense connective tissues of the body – often in the hips, pelvis, and low back – which are difficult to open and can result in both limited flexibility and stagnant energy. This deep practice is gentle, yet intense, helping students not only to open the body, but also to cultivate the ability to observe and stay with sensation. Class for all levels!

In the after glow of a beautiful Yin Yoga class lead by Michelle Schultz, the tasting begins! Wines for Humanity, will discuss how to taste wine, how to pair wine with food, and how wine can be an integral part of a meaningful life- all while learning about and sampling seven fine wine selections.

Bottles will be available to purchase. If anyone at the event chooses to select some of the wines sampled (average cost of a bottle is $20), an average of $2.00 of the cost of each bottle goes directly to local charities that work for the prevention of homelessness in families with children.

Appetizers will be provided. Complimentary cheesecake from The Cheesecake Store.
