Ballroom Dance for Seniors with Parkinson Disease

Join us on Wednesdays, September 4th - October 30th from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm.  There is one-time charge of $5.00 (to be donated to the Wisconsin Parkinson Association)

Ballroom dancing is fun and creative, with many positive effects for patients with Parkinson disease. Dancing has been shown to help improve balance, mobility, mood, and socialization for seniors, especially those with Parkinson disease.This 9-week class will be taught by Jacqui Lefebvre,a professional dance instructor with DanceWorks. Participants will be asked to stand for periods of time,with intermittent breaks. No experience required!
