The Week Ahead: Patchapalooza and Art Guild Gallery Opening

Casino Night: The Menomonee Falls Rotary Club is sponsoring a Casino Night from 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 16 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 11600 Park Place in Milwaukee. Tickets are $50, and proceeds will benefit the Menomonee Falls and Hamilton school districts.

Art Gallery Grand Opening: The Menomonee Falls Art Guild will celebrate the opening of its temporary gallery from 6-9 p.m. Thursday on Main Street and Grand Avenue in downtown Menomonee Falls. Meet the artists and enjoy refreshments. A total of 22 artists are represented in the gallery.  Art work includes, woodworking, paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, jewelry, metal, and more.

Patchapalooza: It's Patch's biggest party yet: ! The event kicks off at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 at  in downtown Menomonee Falls. If you are reading this article, you are invited. The party ends whenever the partiers decide to end it.

Enjoy a beer tasting provided by Point Brewery along with tasty appetizers from Angelo’s Cafe Vino. Live music will kick in later in the evening. The party will also be a great time to meet and share a drink Patch editors from Menomonee Falls, Sussex, Wauwatosa, and Brookfield. Swag will be made available.

Willhelm's Workshop: Neu's Building Center is offering a free woodworking workshop from 4-6 p.m. Monday. Learn tips and techniques from Master Craftsman Bob Wilhelm that will give you great ideas for your next woodworking project.

Patch Office Hours: As a web-based news source, we utilize Facebook and Twitter quite a bit. However, I felt it was time to make myself available in person on a regular basis. So, from 5 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday I will be holding "office hours" in the large study room on the the second floor of the Menomonee Falls Public Library. If the room is full we will definitely find a place to chat.
