The Week Ahead: Homecoming Week at Menomonee Falls High School

Here's a peak at what's going on this week in Menomonee Falls.

With the greatest weekend in Wisconsin sports history now behind us, it's time to look forward to the week ahead of us. And, like always, there is plenty going on in the week ahead in Menomonee Falls.

Here's a look at what made the calendar in this first week of October.

Homecoming Week

It's time once again to purchase those corsages and make dinner reservations. It's Homecoming Week at . This year, the varsity football team is hosting West Allis Hale for the big game, which kicks off at 7 p.m.

The annual Powder Puff Game between juniors and seniors will start at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the High School. Tickets are $2 in advance, and $3 at the door.

Of course, the big dance will take place at the high school as well. The Grand March begins at 7 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium, which will be followed by the dance. Tickets are $20 for singles, and $40 for couples.

Village Board Meeting

The Menomonee Falls Village Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at . At this meeting they'll vote to approve $7.3 million in bonds among other actions.

Social Networking Class

The Menomonee Falls Public Library is holding a from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday. The class is open to everyone, but registration is required. Just bring your questions.

Managing the Costs of College

A free of college will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in room 102A of the Community Center. The lecture is sponsored by the Menomonee Falls School Dsitrict. The event is expected to end at approximately 8:30 p.m. Β 

Falls Patio Players Opens New Show

The Falls Patio Players will perform "Some Enchanted Evening" at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the auditorium. Tickets are $15, and shows will run throughout the weeked. There will be one showing on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., and two more shows at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
