Halloween at A.J. O’Brady’s

Celebrate Halloween and help out the Saturday at A.J. O’Brady’s. Starting at 5 p.m., customers that bring in a non-perishable food item for the pantry will receive a free 20-ounce Miller tapper. The night also includes a costume contest, bobbing for beer, and live music, which starts at 10 p.m.

Downtown abuzz Thursday

Downtown Menomonee Falls will be the center of spooky activities starting at 4 p.m. Thursday. The downtown Trick or Treat event is from 4 to 7 p.m. Kids up to age 12 can enjoy treats from downtown merchants. Keep an eye out for merchants with a caldron displayed in their window, and participate in the downtown scavenger hunt. Print off the flyer to join the fun. Finally, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. will be decorated for a haunted walk. Line up in the municipal lot on Mill Street. Visit the Village Centre online for more details.

Sports facilities research plan on the School Board agenda

The Menomonee Falls School Board take a vote to approve a facilities research plan and architectural analysis of the high school athletic facilities at 7 p.m. Monday at . This is the first of several approvals needed to move forward with. Administrators will present the results of the analysis  at the School Board meeting Nov. 7.
