Stay Close to Home While Ringing in the New Year

Looking for places to ring in the New Year? There are plenty of options in Menomonee Falls and Sussex.

Who says you have to go to downtown Milwaukee — or stay at home — to celebrate the new year?

Patch has compiled the following list of venues and restaurants in Menomonee Falls and Sussex to help you ring in 2013.

There will be a party from 11 a.m. Monday until 3 a.m. New Year's Day with two DJs. There is no  cover charge, and there will be a complimentary champagne toast and party favors at midnight.

Be sure to make your reservations by Sunday for a New Year's Eve dinner at at RBG Bar & Grill and receive a free bottle of champagne.

AJ O'Brady's

The bar will feature an Irish toast at 6 p.m. New Year's Eve to mark the new year in Ireland. AJ's will have a DJ and drink packages from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Drink packages are honored at both A.J. O'Brady's for the party with DJ Chamroc and at AJ's Live, across the street, for the party with Pat McCurdy.

The New Year's Eve party will feature Rock ‘N Bowl from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., and a bar party from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. that incudes a beef sandwich and all-you-can-drink beer, rail, wine and soda for $25 per person.

New Year's Eve party will run from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and will feature an open bar, champagne toast at midnight and a pizza buffet after midnight. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the doors. The event is limited to 350 people. Visit the Sussex Bowl website for more information.

Kids party will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, and the new year countdown starting at 6 p.m. Price is $8.95 per child.
