Last Chance: Easter Egg Hunt, Elections and Relay for Life

This is a weekly column letting you know what neighborhood deadlines are approaching. Check out the list and make sure you have your calendar filled out accordingly.

Tuesday is Election Day, and the contest for two seats on the Menomonee Falls School Board has been heating up. Remember, polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. It's your last chance to have your voice heard in races for School Board, Waukesha County Board of Supervisors, and the Republican primary.

Make sure to check out which candidates are squaring off against a competitor on so you can make an educated decision at the poll.

Waste Permits

On April 4, yard waste permits for village residents will be mailed to your home. They go into effect on April 7, and are valid until Dec. 1. Your permit entitles you to 35 free drop-offs at the Orchard Ridge composting facility with proof of residency.

Don't forget about the Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Village Centre from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday in Village Park. The event is free, and the hunt will start at 7 p.m. Don't forget to bring your baskets.

Culver's Match Night

From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Culver's will send 10 percent of all its proceeds to the Menomonee Falls High School Relay for Life. Just bring the flier with you to Culver's to ensure a portion of your sale will go toward the event.
