Falls Wrestling Team Remains Undefeated

The Menomonee Falls Indians cruised to an easy team victory Thursday against Brookfield Central.

The Menomonee Falls High School wrestling team walked off the mats with a convincing victory in a dual meet Thursday against Brookfield Central.

The Indians piled it on the Lancers with a 62-12 team victory. The large margin of victory was attributable to five Lancer forfeits. However, even when Lancers stepped into the circle, Falls performed at a high level.

Senior Ayoola Olapo (182 pounds) posted the fasted non-forfeit victory. He pinned Brookfield Central’s Elliot Currie in just 32 seconds, and strolled back to the bench to cheer on his teammates. Junior Alex Koch and freshman Jerrot Holz also pinned their opponents and added to the team tally.

The other Falls wrestlers who posted victories Thursday were:

  • James Dow, junior (forfeit)
  • Trayvon Handy, junior (forefeit)
  • Aaron Daly, sophomore (forfeit)
  • Ian Virlee, sophomore (forfeit)
  • Bill Holz, sophomore (forfeit)
  • Austin Meyers, senior (11-3)
  • Sam Schwabenlander, senior (forfeit)
  • Jake Fuiten, junior (15-7)

The wrestling team was fresh off a sixth-place team finish at the Battle of the Bay in Green Bay last week. Olapo took the chapionship in the 182 pound weight class.

The Indians improved to 3-0 overall, and 2-0 in the Greater Metro Conference. They’ll head to the Marty Loy Invite in Fond du Lac Saturday.

Carl; it is the weight loss regimen many wrestlers use to make their weight.

First of all, you don't pay taxes. Second, 90% of the proceeds go to huge corporations. Third, it isRead More very disingenuous for you to say that "80% of relief goes to President Obama's definition of middle-class taxpayers." In more appropriate words, that is a flat out LIE.
Craig June 16, 2013 at 09:58 pm
Yes I do pay taxes John. Got some bad weed again John, eh?

I agree with Nuitari (just this one time). I think I like the old version of the Patch MUCH better!
Craig June 10, 2013 at 02:18 pm
I agree too. But WISN likes to run the light version of news, only covering topics they feel weRead More should know about- or fits their agenda.
John Wilson June 14, 2013 at 01:43 pm
I think that the Patch is making a sincere effort to actually get into what Conservatives refer toRead More as “elite journalism.” What Conservatives mean by that is, people who read, write, present facts, and possess the ability to actually analyze written articles, and provide fact-based responses, rather than snarky, juvenile or scatological, religious dogma. Those of you still wearing your loin cloths since birth, and still living in your caves need not participate…

Thought it would be interesting. Just confirms my belief over cops and cell phones.
Nuitari June 8, 2013 at 12:35 pm
Thanks Carl. It will be interesting to see what develops.

Scott Walker is definitely the antidote for B. Hussein Obama's Socialist maneuvers. Everything ObamaRead More effed up over 8 years can be repaired by reform expert Scott Walker. I just hope it will not be too late. POS POTUS will have us spending 80% of our income in taxes.
