Decorate a Christmas Stocking and Win Prizes from the Village Centre

It’s never too early to start thinking about the holiday season, right? Sure it’s not even November, but it’s high time to get creative and enter the Village Centre’s annual Christmas stocking decorating contest.

The Village Centre will offer prizes to the top three stockings in three different age groups; kindergarten and under, grades 1-3, and grades 4-5. Participants  can decorate the stocking with any materials they wish, so long as nothing sharp is sticking out of them.

Stockings can be picked up from the following locations:

• Dan’s Tog Shop / Robin’s Nest
• Hanson Soft Water
• Menomonee Falls Chamber Office
• Purloin Studio
• Village Centre BID Office

All stockings must be returned to one of those businesses by 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16. All entries will be displayed in the storefronts of downtown merchants throughout the holiday season. The top three winners in each category will be placed in the Village Centre’s window.

Each stocking comes with a tag for participants to print their name, age category, and phone number. IF you have any questions regarding the contest, call Village Centre Director Barb Watters at 251-8797.
