Popcorn, Softball, and Parade!

Fourth of July parade is just part of a busy summer for Menomonee Falls Optimist Club.

Well things don't seem to be slowing down for the Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls.  On Tuesday, June 26th a special "Honor Flight Night" was held at the popcorn wagon.  We were visited by many veterans who have served our country, the Milwaukee War Dog Organization, and the Wisconsin Adopt A Golden Retriever Rescue.  Lots of popcorn was sold!!  Thank you all for making it a great night.

On Thursday, June 28th the Menomonee Falls Police Dept will have their dog at the popcorn wagon doing demonstrations.  This is a great site to see and we encourage everyone to come out.  The program will start at 7 pm and additional parking is available in M&I Bank.

Starting Friday, June 29th the Optimist Club along with Sal's Pub will be hosting a softball tournament which will run through Sunday.  Games start at 9 am and food, beverages, and the awesome popcorn will be available for purchase.

Then don't forget about the annual Fourth of July Parade which is held on Tuesday, July 3rd starting at 7 pm.  The parade will have over 100 units.  Cub Scout Pack 109 will be handing out parade brochures before the parade.  Heads Up Juggling, a Magician, and Jer Bear the Bubble Clown will be performing before the parade.  After the parade the "University of Wisconsin Marching Band" and "The Glassman Drum and Bugle Corp" will perform between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm in the High School Football Stadium.  Optimist Club members will be selling popcorn and cotton candy before, during, and after the parade.  Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:30 pm.
