Football, Football, Football!

The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls is at it again.

On Friday, Aug. 24 the Optimist Club will be holding its annual Punt, Pass, & Kick (PP&K) Contest from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Menomonee Falls High School Football Practice Field.  This is a FREE event and open to boys and girls between the ages of 6-15.  There are 5 different age divisions and boys and girls compete separately.  Age divisions are 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15.  Participants must bring a birth certificate or baptismal record to registration for proof of age.  No one will be allowed to participate with out it.  Also participants must wear tennis shoes as no cleats are allowed.  For more information contact event organizer Greg Mattson at 262-290-5889.

Tickets are now available for the 16th Annual Luxury Packer Raffle.  Grand Prize is 8 Club Seat tickets to see the Packers in your choice of six Lambeau games.  This is new this year.  Also included in grand prize is the luxury limo ride with food and refreshments while en route to the game, tailgate party at Bart Starr Plaza compliments of VFI, Packer apparel, and $1,000 in cash.

• 2nd Place - $1,000
• 3rd Place - $600
• 4th Place - $400
• 5th - 17th Place - $250 each
• 18th Place will receive a FREE ticket for the 2013 Luxury Packer Raffle

Only 350 tickets are available and cost $100 each (1 in 20 chance of more then doubling your money).  Consider joining forces with friends and family to split the cost of a ticket.  Tickets are available from any Optimist Club member.

For each ticket purchase this will allow one admission to the drawing Tailgate Party being held on Monday, September 17th at Village Bowl.  Additional guest can also attend the tailgate party for $10 per person.  The tailgate party will include free bees, soda, and buffet starting at 5:30 pm and the drawing will take place at 7:00 pm.  An additional $1,800 in door prizes will be awarded at the tailgate party however you must be present to win one of those prizes.   

All proceeds raised through this raffle benefit the scholarships and community youth programs.
