Cans for MS (Multiple Sclerosis)

Dear Friends of Menomonee Falls:

I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Wisconsin Chapter.  Please help me in this important project by contributing cans as I participate in Challenge Walk MS 2014.  It is a 3 day, 50 mile walk in Door County, WI.  In order to participate, I must raise $1,500.  Your support of donating your used cans will help find a cure and to improve the lives of 10,000+ people who live with multiple sclerosis (MS) in Wisconsin.  For information about the Challenge Walk, you can visit www.challengewalkmswi.org.

I am doing the Challenge Walk MS for my grandpa.  The 3 day, 50 mile walk will be a challenge for me, but I am doing it because I can.  My grandpa is paralyzed from his neck down and is unable to move.  We have been very lucky that MS has not affected his mind. He is my biggest inspiration and my biggest fan.  Anytime I have a bad day, I think of him and remember to be thankful for even the simplest things.  I may not understand MS or why it happens to great people, but I accept it.  I have to be thankful that my grandpa has lived 83 years and has been there for some of my greatest accomplishments.  MS may have taken his body, but it has not taken his spirit.

Although my grandpa at the age of 83 may not be cured, I hope to help find a cure for others by raising money for research.  My grandpa wishes for his body to be donated to science so they can do further research into MS as well.  Please join me in making a difference. Every little bit helps!!  I greatly appreciate all the support.

I am willing to pick up cans or meet you.  Please contact me directly at (262) 719-1817 or email me at cans4ms2014@gmail.com.
