The Allstate Foundation Grants $1000 to the Schauer Arts And Activities Center Inc

Allstate agency owner Penny Jo Zagel received the Agency Hands in the Community Award for her commitment to helping others. With this award came a $1000 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Schauer Arts And Activities Center Inc in Hartford, where Zagel volunteers. The Schauer Arts & Activities Center is a performing and visual arts complex located in downtown Hartford.

“The Agency Hands in the Community Award celebrates the spirit of service “Commitment to our communities is a natural extension of what we do every day – protecting people and making their lives more secure,” said Shaundra Turner, director of The Allstate Foundation in Wisconsin. “With support from The Allstate Foundation, Penny Jo Zagel and the Schauer Arts And Activities Center Inc is making our hometown a better, safer place to live.”

 

The Allstate Foundation awards more than $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of dedicated Allstate agency owners who give back. To be eligible for nomination, Allstate agency owners must with volunteer, mentor or lead a nonprofit of their choice.
