Town Bank Hosts Free Community Lunch

The bank celebrated its first year in Menomonee Falls with some burgers and brats from Trysting Place.

There's nothing better than a sunny day and a good lunch - especially if that lunch is free.

To celebrate its first full year operating in Menomonee Falls, Town Bank held a free community lunch outside its location at N72W13435 Jacob Lane, which is in the shopping center on the corner of Appleton Avenue and Good Hope Road.

"So this is our anniversary and get people back out and drum up some more business for Falls and our office," said Dan Schwind, vice president of private banking. "Our first year in business went awesome."

Town Bank held the free lunch last year, but the weather was a chilly 50 degrees and rainy. This year, Sal Zizzo and Trysting Place Pub provided the burgers, brats, chips and drinks.

"Couldn't have picked a better day. We got lucky," Schwind said.

Both Schwind and Kent Eliason grew up and live in Menomonee Falls. Their ties to the local community helped grow Town Bank. Town Bank opened its doors in September 2012.

"We want to let people know Town Bank is here, and we're a community bank. Our business with members of the community is just as important as the relationship," Schwind said.
