Savor a Swig of Prohibition from Benedon's

Welcome to the first installment of a regular feature highlighting the strange and unique items on the shelves at Benedon's pawn shop on Appleton Avenue.

The shelves at are filled with unique treasures of all types and from all eras.

Check Menomonee Falls Patch every week to see and hear about the newest and most unique item for sale from Chuck Benedon himself.

This week, Chuck is showcasing an extraordinary bottle of whisky straight from the days of Al Capone and Prohibition. The bottle of Walker's Canadian Club whiskey was smuggled to the states in 1925, and the whisky itself was bottled in 1921.

If you crack open the bottle, it's sure to taste just as it did during The Roaring 20s.

It's definitely a place to stop in to. An amazing collection of vintage guitars, muskets, sabres, coins, all kinds of stuff. I'm glad he's agreed to do this feature weekly. Next week's installment will be "shocking".
