North Hills Country Club Ponders 'Lucrative' Deal
Menomonee Falls golf club is adjacent to office park that has been reported as targeted location for new Kohl's headquarters.
Details of a potential expansion of Kohl’s Corporation headquarters in Menomonee Falls remain evasive as village and company officials continue to decline public comment, but in the absence of fire, there is plenty of smoke.

On Thursday, the Journal Sentinel reported that Kohl’s is looking to purchase North Hills Country Club to accommodate the new headquarters.
A North Hills member, who wished to not be identified, told Patch that members were informed that there was a "lucrative" deal in the works that would generate a significant amount of revenue to build a new club and erase existing debts. The source said there weren’t any names attached to the deal.
The source added that on Friday, General Manager Ken McIntyre didn’t mention the development in an e-mail detailing upcoming events at the club. McIntyre told Patch on Friday that the North Hills Board of Directors will meet in the next few weeks to vote on the proposal.
The Menomonee Falls Village Board has a special meeting tonight to discuss the capital budget but is not scheduled to enter closed session to discuss development surrounding TIF District No. 4. Any votes on the matter are required to take place in open session.
