'Landmark' Building Occupant Emerges

Menomonee Falls will soon be home to two Japanese-style restaurants.

The corner of Pilgrim Road and Main Street in Menomonee Falls is one of the busiest in the village, and it's also one of the most talked about.

Several months ago crews completed construction of the 'Landmark' building on the corner of the two bustling streets, but the building sat vacant and quiet. However, that will soon change.

The village recently received plans for a build out of the entire building from Ninja Japanese Steakhouse. The Falls location will be the second Ninja restaurant in the area - the current location is in West Bend.

Ninja specializes in Japanese hibachi seafood, steak, chicken, and vegetable dinners. However, Ninja also serves sushi, sashimi, Thai cuisine, and Maki. Construction will continue throughout summer and an opening in fall is likely.

Once Ninja opens, Falls will suddenly be home to two Japanese-inspired restaurants. In mid-May, Sakura Sushi & Grill opened its remodeled space in the North Pointe Plaza. According to Patch users, first impressions have been positive. Both owners are actually friends, one village staff member told Patch.

"Our entrees were delicious and the presentations were excellent and impressive. It was refreshing to see something unique and different," wrote Astor Vatland

Patch will continue to follow the opening of Ninja Japanese Steakhouse, but in the meantime you can peruse their West Bend location menu online.
