CrossFit Training Center Could Open in Falls

CrossFit Menomonee Falls would offer a different kind of fitness opportunity in the village.

Fitness and exercise has been a popular business model for entrepreneurs looking to set up shop in Menomonee Falls. Another fitness club is looking to open along County Line Road in the near future.

Nina Arezina is looking to open an 8,400-square-foot CrossFit facility at N96W14561 County Line Rd. CrossFit mixes weightlifting, Olympic lifts, gymnastics, cardiovascular conditioning, and body weights into a workout routine. You mix a variety of activities and time yourself as you complete them.

Arezina would provide CrossFit training in 1-hour sessions, a beginners CrossFit course, and open gym time, and personal training. She'll also offer a training program for kids, nutritional coaching, and Olympic lifting.

Classes will include about 15-20 people, and one or two trainers would be on staff at all times while the gym is open. Membership fees would range from $75 per month to $130 per month for a single membership, depending on the type of program you choose. Private training sessions would run roughly $45 per class, or $200 for five classes.

The gym will feature locker rooms for both sexes with showers bathrooms. The business proposal will go before the Plan Commission in October for approvals.

Fitness centers have been making a push in the business community of late in Menomonee Falls. The Wisconsin Athletic Club is set to open in November after construction is completed along Pilgrim Road, and Planet Fitness is still working through steps with the village to open in Colonial Plaza on Appleton Avenue.
