Love Thanksgiving but you dread the kitchen? No worries. There are several local businesses offering Thanksgiving Day specials to fill you up, without the frustration of gnawing through an over-cooked turkey on Thursday. Café Agora will host a Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. Cost is $19.99 for adults, and children under 10 cost $9.99. Roast turkey, smoked ham, sweet potatoes, corn, fruit, homemade soups, fresh salad, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie are all on the menu.
RBG Bar and Grill
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. RBG Bar and Grill is offering a $10.95 Thanksgiving special. It includes a house salad, seven-grain bread, roasted turkey, lemon thyme gravy, garlic whipped potatoes, stuffing and vegetables. A two-for-one Bloody Mary special will also be ongoing.
Silver Spring Country Club
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, the Silver Spring Country Club will host a Thanksgiving champagne brunch. The menu includes chef-carved prime rib, ham, roast pork loin, and of course turkey with sage dressing. The brunch will also feature breakfast items including made-to-order omelets, a seafood station with peel-and-eat shrimp, and smoked salmon. Trysting Place Pub
Join Trysting Place for a pre-Thanksgiving celebration Wednesday from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The Choogy Band will provide live music with no cover charge. On Thanksgiving, the pub is running an all-you-can-drink domestic beer special for $12.
Su Casa Grande
Su Casa is hosting a Thanksgiving-eve party from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Wednesday. They are hosting free limo rides from your house to Su Casa. Pints of Spaten Oktoberfest will sell for $2.
