Cafe Agora Holding Grand Opening All Week

Although they opened in March, the owner and management have decided to hold a grand opening celebration this week.

Café Agora in Menomonee Falls is in the midst of celebrating its grand opening week at its location along Appleton Avenue downtown.

The owner and management of has been serving Falls food for over 25 years.  Along with their staff they have made some wonderful friends and strong ties to the community.

They are celebrating their grand opening from Aug. 27-31. Café Agora is open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday through Thursday, and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays.

In order to give back to those who supported their business, they made the decision to host a grand opening and give back to the Menomonee Falls Area Food Pantry as well. The newly remodeled, refreshed and updated Café Agora is dedicated to serving great food, fresh brewed coffee, fresh squeezed and blended beverages. It’s also a conversation and meeting place. In fact, agora means “place of gathering”.

Café Agora , but after receiving feedback from customers they’ve changed a few things – hence the grand opening. If you bring a non-perishable food item to Café Agora during the grand opening celebration, you will receive 15 percent off of any meal purchase.

Café Agora owner, Vassi Bavela, was very touched by the number of families that the Falls food pantry supports – 1,545 people. Over 30 percent of those assisted are children.  She has also reached out to Agora food providers and asked them for help.

The food pantry is running short of food supplies, and they are in dire need of more donations as fall and winter approach.

We have tried this place about 5 times now. I'm sorry to say, we have been disappointed at least 3 times to different degrees. Rude owner, slow service, smelly bathrooms... I wish this was not he case. We need our restaurants to thrive here in the falls.

We love this place the food was good and the people were friendly , but the rest rm did need attention. The worst restaurant is in old downtown falls and everyone knows which one it is ! Ants everywere and Fly's landing on my food and the cook not wearing gloves on cooked food.

Great place to eat, the owner had made christmas cookies over the holidays and gave some to us to try while we got done with our dinner & they were delicious. Not to many places do that where the owner just makes cookies and gives them away. The service was great! Felt like we had two servers in fact because we had one girl get our drinks for us which was then followed up by our server serving us and then girl before helped clear plates off so we could have a clear table and have my lunch meeting with my colleagues. I don't know what this other person said about rude owner? But its people like those that make me upset because i don't know the owners name but who ever she is, she is working hard to keep up a small business. her dishes are fresh and plates look amazing. i like how people like paul just judge a owner like you don't their life what they have been through so before you use some rude comments think or perhaps talk to the owner and see what the problem is and help her out rather than being selfesh and just going on a site and bashing a business. I have been to many chain restaurants and let me tell you not every visit has been pleasant. So to end this yeah maybe they slip a little here and there because there have been times where i was there at cafe agora and the food took longer than normal than 15 min which is frustrating but no one nor business is perfect. So when people make comments, try to help the business If you want to see improvement or just dont comment
