Police: Gun Flashed During Gasoline Theft

Menomonee Falls police are searching for a man they say flashed a handgun during a gas drive-off last week.

The man -- described as African-American, taller than 6 feet and about 240 pounds with slight facial hair -- is a suspect in four such gasoline thefts since June 17.

On July 17, an employee of the gas station where the man was filling up confronted him. He displayed a black, semi-automatic handgun before driving off.

The vehicle he uses is a red, late 1990s Oldsmobile sedan. Different license plates have been seen on the car.

Anyone with information should contact Lt. Kevin Von Bank at 532-8700.
