Get Downtown Into Halloween Mode By Decorating a Scarecrow or Pumpkin
Can your scarecrow scare crows or your carved pumpkin win a gift certificate?
Get creative, decorate the "Four Corners", and maybe even win a gift certificate - a Halloween trifecta.
The Village Centre is looking for individuals, families, groups, or businesses to get in the spirit and fabricate a scarecrow, carve a pumpkin, or both. Compete or just do it for fun.
Creations can be set on or next to hay bales that will be put out in Centennial Park, at the corner of Appleton Avenue and Main Street, from Oct. 22 until noon on October 26. If you are competing, a name and phone number must be securely attached to your creation.
