Art Guild's "Inspired by Words" Exhibit

The Guild's annual Inspired by Words show demonstrates how the written word can be used as inspiration for artwork. Each year, member Maggie Brooks pens new proses and invites the visual artists within The Guild to illustrate her words through their work. Maggie's poems this year are titled, " Two Daughters," "Sassy Dancing Feet," "Salami and Candles in the Middle of Nowhere," "Interlude in a Small Universe," "The Garden," and "Funky Rhyming." Make sure to stop in and soak in the atmosphere at Latitudes Coffee House in Germantown during the show's run June 29th through July 28th. Opening Reception will be held Wednesday, June 29th from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
