St. James Parish, on the far western border of Menomonee Falls, is two churches in one. It includes a large modern facility to serve a growing community, and the original traditional church built in 1848, which is among the oldest permanent structures in southeast Wisconsin. Irish families who settled nearby to work in the famed Lannon stone quarries founded the church.
