The fireworks started a day early for two parade-goers, who got in a scuffle in the middle of Appleton Avenue on July 2 during the annual "Land Grab" for the best spots in the Menomonee Falls Fourth of July parade. 

Falls Woman Assaulted While Walking Her Dog

The Washington County Sheriff's Department started their search for a suspect who assaulted a Menomonee Falls woman while she was walking her dog on July 12. 

Falls Business Owner Charged With Possession of Child Porn

A Mequon man who owned Midwest Lighting Center in Menomonee Falls was charged July 10 with possession of child pornography. 

Heroin Overdose Death Under Investigation in Menomonee Falls

The Menomonee Falls Police Department started an investigation of the heroin overdose death of a young Menomonee Falls man who was found dead in his bedroom on May 21.
