Patch Tour: A Morning at the Farmers Market

The Patch Tour of Menomonee Falls continued Wednesday at the weekly farmers market. Be sure to check out the free community workshop sponsored by Patch Thursday.

Wednesday's stop on the Menomonee Falls Patch Tour brought Editor Carl Engelking and Assistant Regional Editor Matthew Schroeder out to the farmers market.

Although the skies darkened and the wind picked up periodically, the vendors and customers stayed dry.

It's been a cool summer and many of the produce vendors are still waiting to head out to market, but a wide variety of annuals, herbs and some produce were available for purchase. Patch set up a table at the market and spread the word about Patch.com. Movie passes were the big ticket item on Patch's prize wheel, but everyone that gave it a spin left with a magnet or window decal.
