National Night Out Celebration is Tuesday in Menomonee Falls

The Menomonee Falls Neighborhood Watch will celebrate its 25th anniversary in conjunction with the event.

The Menomonee Falls Neighborhood Watch invites all village residents to join in the fun at National Night Out on Aug. 2.

It is also the 25th Anniversary of the formation of the Menomonee Falls Neighborhood Watch and the festivities will be in full swing from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the parking lot, N95W17707 Shady Ln. 

The celebration is a free event and will feature entertainment from the musical group and the Chamber Strings. Opening festivities will include the presentation of the colors by The Menomonee Falls Police Department Color Guard and the singing of the National Anthem by Police Chief Anna Ruzinski.

Various police and fire equipment, including the MFPD S.W.A.T. team, Survive Alive House, Mobile Command Center and more will be on display and open for tours. Police and fire Personnel will also be in attendance to meet and greet all attendees.

Other exhibitors will have booths with information on safety and crime prevention. For the kids, the , the Recreation Department and others will have games and contests. Chuggy the Train give rides around the party.

Boy Scout Troop #109 will provide hot dogs and drinks for festivities. will give away free popcorn, and Menomonee Falls Patch will be running the popcorn stand for the event.
