Highway 145 Construction Starts Monday

The project will be constructed in stages, so at least one lane in each direction will be available for traffic on Highway 100 and Highway 145 at all times.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation on Monday will begin a $3.2 million construction project to improve 3 1/2 miles of Highway 145, between Highway 100 and Highway 167.

This project involves milling and resurfacing of the highway. Traffic signals will be replaced at the Fountain Boulevard intersection, with part of the intersection being reconstructed. The entire Old Orchard Road intersection will also be reconstructed.

The work will include excavating, grading, placing new storm sewer pipe, new traffic signals and a new concrete roadway.
