HAWS Sponsoring a Pet Fair Saturday

Event will kick of at 9 a.m. at Rotary Park in Menomonee Falls.

The fourth annual Humane Animal Welfare Society Pet Fair will be the feature attraction Saturday at in Menomonee Falls.

The pet fair will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. rain or shine at the park, which is along Fond Du Lac Avenue just west of Lilly Road.

Admission to the event is free, and animals are invited as long as they are on a 6-foot leash or in a pet carrier. The HAWS mobile pet unit will be on site for those who are looking for a new friend in the family.

The fair also includes obedience training, micro-chipping, exotic animals, pet products and other local vendors. There will also be food and beverages as well as raffle prizes.

Pet owners are also invited to take the “Paws Pledge for Cleaner Water”, which is a pledge to properly dispose of pet waste in the village. If you take the pledge, your pet will receive a free bandana.
