Green Lattern and Jane Eyre Headline Library's Thursday Movie Lineup

The monthly event is free and open to all, based on the movie's rating.

A comic book hero and a historical drama will be featured by the Thursday in its monthly movie picks. 

Both movies will be presented in the library’s community room off the main lobby. Admission is free to all, based on the movie’s rating.  Carry-in soft drinks, water, or coffee in covered containers, as well as popcorn or candy, are permitted.

The Green Lattern

6:30 p.m., Thursday

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Peter Sarsgaard.  A test pilot is given a green ring by an alien and discovers that he is now one of the Green Lanterns, an intergalactic corps that helps keep the peace around the universe. Directed by Martin Campbell.  Rated PG-13, 105 minutes.

Jane Eyre

2:15 p.m. Thursday

Starring Mia Wasikowska, Michael Fassbender and Judi Dench.  An orphaned 19th century governess falls in love with her employer, who has a terrible secret of his own.  Novel by Charlotte Bronte, screenplay by Moira Buffini, and directed by Cary Fukunaga. Rated PG-13, 121 minutes
