The Community League will once again sponsor its annual craft fair, "A Community Affair," later in October.

The group will hold an organization meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 14 to discuss vendors and other details of the event. A gathering will be held at 6:45 p.m. prior to the meeting.

"A Community Affair" will kick off at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Menomonee Falls High School.

Community League has operated as a service organization since 1961, and this will be its 31st arts, crafts, antiques, and collectibles show. It will feature 100 exhibitors of the finest in today's trends and timeless treasures. The event also features antique appraiser, Barbara Esch, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. She will appraise all items except coins and stamps for $3 per item.

For hungry attendees, the Community League will serve a homemade luncheon featuring its famous Swiss Cream Soup, hot shredded beef sandwiches, Community League's Chicken Salad, homemade desserts, as well as a snack bar with hot dogs and nachos.

Ample parking is available as well as a free shuttle bus from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Admission is $4, with all proceeds going to local and greater metro chariities, scholarships, and civic projects.
