Accompany of Kids Pack Village Park for Thursday Concerts Finale

It may be the last thought on people's minds, but summer is winding down and so is the series. took the stage for the final Thursday performance, and ended the series in a big way. 

The local youth group entertained the large audience at with an evening singing and dancing. During the year, AOK may perform 40 or more shows locally and throughout the state. They’ve performed at Summerfest, Germanfest, Noah’s Ark, Riversplash and Bastille Days.

On Thursday, the group performed some recognizeable disco hits from the past and present including the "YMCA" and "It's Raining Men." The weather was splendid for the evening, and families ejoyed time together and children romped around in the park.

Although the Thursday concerts are now over, there's still one more chance to catch a show live downtown. Ed Franks will be performing form Noon to 1 p.m., Aug. 15 at on the west side of the river.

The Community League, Cornerstone Bank, Landmark Credit Union, Malkin’s Carpets, Hansen Soft Water and Pete’s Main Street Headliners sponsored the summer's concerts.
