It's time, turn off your Christmas lights

As I drive around there are quite a few stupid residents with their Christmas lights still on. I am no longer surprised as I know some are so dumb they will keep them on until February, happens every year.

It is January 19th, time to turn off the switch or plug the timer. You look really dumb with a house full of crappy lights this late into January and I laugh at you.

Christmas has been over, move of with your life.

Is it okay to leave them in the snow as long as they're unplugged? I made sure they were all LED so I wasn't making a carbon footprint this season.

As long as you do to look like a fool with them on yes. Half of mine are froze in place for months. I burned a barrel of crude to make up for your lack of carbon, it's freaking cold this winter, need to speed up this global warmings.

Wow TAX PAYER, a typical asinine comment from a Republican who can't read ANYTHING without making a slam against the president.

Move on with your life and leave others alone; maybe they were up to celebrate Orthodox Christmas and New Year. I do believe it's still a Free Country (to a degree), they can leave their lights up all year if they want. Unless you live in some dictator run development or town that tells you what you can do on your own property, with specifics to holiday lights.

Daniel- I do believe it's still a Free Country, I can laugh at those that still have their Christmas lights on for no reason other than they are too stupid to turn them off.

I enjoy seeing the lights on these dark, dreary days.

Put in some low voltage landscaping lighting if you want to light up the dark nights. Those that pride ourselves in our landscaping have already.

Hey Pale Rider - they are making our neighborhood look nice! And FYI, I don't have any lights up! It's people like you with your harsh comments that make the Falls look bad not the lights!
Lori January 23, 2014 at 02:50 PM
I don't live in a trailer park and I don't have lights up. But I have a heart!

lol. Yes we approve of heart shaped lights at this time. MY idiot neighbors still have their XMAS lights on most nights. They whine about utility costs all the time, yet are too dumb and switch on the lights manually every night, sometimes they leave them on during the day.
