Area churches and the local community responded generously to the need in Oklahoma over the last week. Legacy Christian Church in Menomonee Falls began receiving donations over the weekend, collecting personal toiletry items and cleaning items to package relief kits for victims of the recent tornado. By Wednesday evening, when the "packing party" was held, the following had been loaded onto the church's trailer: 83 cases of bottled water, 95 clean up kits, and 587 personal care kits. Early Thursday morning, a team from Legacy met up with One Family One Purpose in LaHarpe, Illinois. From there they are continuing their journey to Oklahoma.
