Young Musicians Will Take the Stage at Academy Of Music
Biannual event is in its second year, and gives kids a taste of performing live in a band.
Academy School of Performance will hold its third concert on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 2-4 p.m. at the Academy School of Music on Appleton Avenue in Menomonee Falls.
The performances are an opportunity for private-lesson students to form ensembles, gain experience playing in small groups, and present live performances. The event was a success in its first year.
The public is welcome to attend and encourage the musicians. Doors open at 1:30. Photography without flash is permitted.
“This is the third time we’ve had this biannual concert, and I couldn’t be happier at how much it’s grown in a year,” said Jim Kube, percussion instructor and the program’s founder and director. “It’s more than doubled in size.”

Great to hear old classics being performed by young muscians. Neil Young was right...rock and roll will never die. Rock on kids, rock on...
