Tokoto Selected to Play in Jordan Brand Classic All-Star Game

Tokoto will join the best high school players from around the country in a game that will be broadcast live on ESPN April 14.

Menomonee Falls High School basketball standout JP Tokoto was selected to play in the Jordan Brand Classic, which is an all-star game featuring the best players from around the country.

Tokoto will play on the East Team, and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN at 6 p.m. April 14 from the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. Last year, Tokoto committed to play basketball at the University of North Carolina.

According to the Jordan Brand Classic website, they described Tokoto as:

 “…one of the most athletic players in this year’s class. He has a prototypical frame with very long arms and combined with his athleticism makes him a force on both sides of the ball. Tokoto plays the game above the rim and with a lot of energy, which can be seen by his highlight reel dunks.”

Tokoto and the other 2012 JBC Classic participants will be following in the footsteps of National Basketball Association stars like Chris Paul, LeBron James, and Blake Griffin, who all played in the classic as well.
