Shoplifters Caught After They Park in a Handicap Parking Space

While one woman is talking with a police officer, another kicks stolen merchandise under their car.

Two women are facing charges after they were caught shoplifting from in Menomonee Falls because they parked in a handicapped space.

According to the criminal complaint, Angela M. Billings, 20, and Jasmine A. Julien 22, stole more than $500 worth of merchandise from the store on Tuesday. They had parked in a handicapped space outside the store and a police officer had been waiting for them to exit to ask them why they were parked there.

While talking to Billings a man approached the officer to let him know Julinen was kicking the stolen merchandise under the car.

Both are charged with one count of theft and one count of obstructing an officer. If convicted, they could face up to 18 months in prison and $20,000 in fines.
