Man Shoots Brother For Wearing His Clothes
Victim was transported via Flight for Life after being shot in the femur.
A Menomonee Falls man is facing charges after he allegedly shot his brother with a shotgun inside a Brown Deer home because he was upset about him wearing his clothes and jewelry.
Duvante A. Taylor, 20, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count first-degree reckless endangerment of safety and bail jumping. If convicted, he faces up to 13 years in prison and $35,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
Taylor and his brother were inside a home in the 6100 block of West Donges Lane Monday when he became upset with his brother for wearing his clothes and jewelry. Taylor then grabbed a 12 gauge shotgun and shot his brother in the femur while he was inside his bedroom.
The victim had to be taken to the hospital via Flight for Life due to the severity of his injuries. His brother did survive, however.
Taylor is currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail on $5,000 cash bond.

Nothing to laugh about hear. If he was taken by flight for life, it was quite serious.
Also, I looked him up on CCAP because I figured he had other stuff on his record. He is listed as being born in 1991 making him 20, not 25.

The article clearly states he is 20. I am not sure how you misinterpreted the phrase:

Considering this guy's pants may very well have been to the ground, are the reports accurate that he was indeed shot in the leg or perhaps the foot? In that case at least his Rockawear underpants received no damage.

Steve, who is your question directed to? I certainly hope it's not me as I never said anything about shooting anyone. The only reference I made was about the shooter shooting his own brother. It's just not something I consider a joking matter.
Nate can scoff at this fool if he hopes that will help keep him safe when the guy is back in the Falls with his gun.

I am pretty sure you lost your credibility when you said you ran him through CCAP, and went on to say he is 20, not 25 like the article states. (Doh!)
Yet on another thread you chastize another person for using CCAP to check for ciminal records and probations status of recall signatures.
You are worried the shooter is going to come back to the Falls with his gun, I would be worried he will get a lefty judge who allows a slap on the wrist in leu of incarceration.

Steve, it was in reference that you were going to try to take on bad guys by yourselves. I figured you'd get in trouble doing that and I'd be reading about it. I believe the police are better at it and we should leave it to them.
